Tameside Social Care and Health has two day centres for older people.

Where are the centres?

• Gorse Hall Day Centre (Open Monday to Friday)
  High Street, Stalybridge, 0161 304 8081

• Rydal House (Open seven days a week)
  Rydal Avenue, Hyde, 0161 366 7290

Dentist

There are no dentists in the Longdendale area. The nearest Dentists are in Hyde, but they are also in Stalybridge too.

Leisure Facilities

There is 1 park in Longdendale offering a pleasant floral gardens throughout the year.

The Longdendale Centre houses a large sports hall catering mainly for 5 a side football, badminton and indoor short mat bowling. There are also, two multi activity areas for workout sessions and martial arts.

Longdendale is well serviced with a number of lending libraries and services.
